About Our Client

My client is a global manufacturer of pumps and a metering company. Joining this company, you will belong to the sales office in Japan. My client does not produce anything in Japan, they take care of importing and then reselling nationwide. Here in Japan, they are still relatively new, staff is currently under 5 employees, although they are aiming at adding more staff very shortly (technical support, etc.).

They do not sell to consumers, only to BtoB. Most of their customers are detergent manufacturers, as they offer their detergents together with the company's equipment. They also sell the equipment directly to manufacturers as OEMs.

Job Description

  • Employee shall work as Japan Sales Manager and manage the sales activities in Japan
  • Employee shall achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team


  • Employee shall be engaged in the sales, training, and technical support under self-managerial, discretion, and self-supervising authority, but under the supervision of personnel appointed by the headquarters


  • Employees shall build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Employee shall design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Employee shall be in charge of present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Employees shall identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Employee shall own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives (if present)
  • Employee will report to the company's headquarters
