Our client is a global leader in industrial tools, torque & tension products, and solutions for precise lifting, lowering, and positioning of heavy loads. They serve a vast array of end markets where our products are used to increase productivity and make work safer and easier to perform.

They have been in the Japanese market for more than 2 decades. Our client is well known for its great salary and work-life balance in the industry. This is their first hire for a Sales Director position. Previously, all sales members reports directly to their North East Asia Managing Director.

職務内容

  • Work closely with APAC management to develop and execute the strategic business and sales plan that directly supports the overall vision and company objectives related to channel, market development, employee development, and growth in Japan
  • Orchestrates the development of new markets, identifies and develops key accounts, secures new channels of distribution, and the commercialization of new products. Assess competitive activities and strategies. Implements tactical and strategic initiatives to grow Enerpac's brand position in the marketplace
  • Maintains strict adherence to corporate compliance policies and zero tolerance towards anti-bribery standards for oneself and team
  • Champions the use of technology & sales enablers to facilitate growth such as SFDC, market-based analytical tools, and personal evaluation / HR tools
  • Leads the local team and holds them accountable for meeting KPIs through effective coaching, mentoring, talent acquisition, and performance management
  • Directs the implementation, execution, and compliance with all global company policies and best practices
  • Partners with regional marketing to develop and refine sales and promotional campaigns that respond to the competition and local market environment
  • Consults with APAC leadership to establish and enforce effective sales pricing and discounts on all transactions
  • Ensure the proper collection of all sales receivables due & keeps all accounts current and immediately raise issues with regional finance leadership
  • Leadership of regular operational improvement & safety events using HSSEQ and LEAD tools
  • Solid Line Reporting: Territory Managers, Specialty Product Manager, Customer Service & Warehouse Leader, Engineering, Purchasing & Marcomm Manager
  • Dotted Line Reporting: Finance & Accounting Manager

理想の人材

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese languages - Demonstrated ability to present ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling fashion to their team and senior management
  • Senior-level sales or general management position working experience in the related industry
  • Technical aptitude and commercial experience with mechanics, machinery, and industrial products are a big plus
