Regional Accounting Manager

You are responsible for the day-to-day accounting, including general ledger entries, reporting and managing external accounting partners for selected legal entities in APAC, while ensuring compliance with the internal accounting policies. You prepare internal reports, assist auditors, improve reporting processes, handle VAT and statutory reporting, and support the Global CFO with ad hoc analyses to enhance the existing systems.

職務内容

  • Direct responsibility for the day-to-day accounting i.e. general ledger entries, internal and external support, closing and reporting for selected legal entities
  • Manage, support and control external accounting partners for selected legal entities
  • Making sure accounting and reporting policies are followed
  • Preparing internal monthly and yearly reports and analyses as well as assist the auditors
  • Improving the internal monthly reporting process and policies
  • VAT and other statutory reporting
  • Supporting the Global CFO regarding ad hoc analyses and proactive work to continually develop our processes and systems

理想の人材

  • At least bachelor's degree in business administration/finance/accounting
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as an Accountant/Financial Controller, preferably in an international context
  • Positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to independently identify and implement improvements
  • Outstanding numerical and analytically problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Japanese native level is required
  • Proficient knowledge in Excel
