We are seeking an Accounting Manager for the APAC region, who will lead our accounting department, maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of our company's various financial reports.

Job Description

  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial information.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
  • Support budget and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Boki 1st or 2nd grade preferred.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting in JGAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English, for domestic and oversea communication.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
