You will be joining a warm desk with several key clients and a strong talent pool to work with from day one. The Engineering recruitment desk has an impressive track record in working on very large recruitment projects (high volume retainers) with top tier clients. This will be a strong factor in helping you to rapidly develop your own recruitment space and successfully hit your personal and business targets.

The team will also be able to offer multiple career opportunities to develop your career into an expert recruiter or into our leadership tier.

The engineering team can be described as an international and mature work environment composed of several members with a strong technical background and deep knowledge of the industry.

Job Description

  • Identifying and developing client/business relationships.
  • Advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates
  • Assessing and responding to the needs of each client or assignment.
  • Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the client.
  • Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond.
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate.
  • Offering CV, interview and general career advice.
  • Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluency in English and business Japanese (N2-N1)
  • A proven track record in sales/business development/account management, or recruitment.
  • Experience interacting with clients or/and business development is preferred
  • Ability to work in a Goal/KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and target oriented environment.
  • Strong organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career.
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to overcome objection and be resilient.
  • Outgoing, proactive, have strong communication skills and be a team player.
