Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in Japan and APAC
  • Create, update, and translate QMS documentation with global alignment
  • Support MAH activities including inspections, licensing, and compliance reporting
  • Operate audits, CAPA, and training to ensure compliance with PMD Act, ISO13485, and related regulations
  • Review quality complaints and QC data, implement corrective actions, and deliver training
  • Serve as point of contact with Japanese regulatory authorities during inspections
  • Collaborate with global QA functions to support inspection readiness and business expansion

The Successful Applicant

A successful QA Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field
  • Professional experience in QA within pharmaceutical or medical device sector
  • Knowledge of PMD Act, QMS ordinance, and ISO13485
  • Business-level English and Japanese (written and spoken)
  • Effective communication skills, able to work cross-functionally and internationally
  • Flexible, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Detail-focused, persistent, and committed to compliance excellence
