Job Description

  • Create and design network layouts that meet organizational needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • Install and configure network hardware (such as routers, switches, and firewalls) and software, ensuring they function correctly within the infrastructure.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, using tools to identify bottlenecks or issues and optimize the network for better efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software conflicts, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with other IT teams, such as systems administrators, software developers, and cybersecurity professionals, to ensure seamless integration of network services in Japanese and English.

The Successful Applicant

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Familiarity with network operating systems, such as Cisco IOS, Linux, and Windows Server.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
