Your day will be varied as your team and projects are all unique with much of your time primarily focused on the later stages of the Customer Engagement Cycle. Add value to discussions focused on attracting new business opportunities with existing customers.

During the day, follow up with your team to ensure that we are delivering as promised to our customers consult with key stakeholders and customers to review progress, and ensure a focus on continuous improvement and high customer retention rates. Where problems arise you may be asked to lead a project team to hyper-care our customer to a positive conclusion. Finally focus on evolving our customer relationships, forming trust and deeper relationships to enable new opportunities.

Job Description

  • To own and manage all activities relating to customer retention; reporting, action planning, training, and follow-up activities
  • To take the lead in customer development, reviewing the need for specialist dedication at a local level, supporting the recruitment and training where required as well as being personally responsible for selected customer account management
  • To lead the customer engagement program, including deployment, training, knowledge sharing, and identifying opportunities for innovation
  • To execute voice of the customer activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Business Development experience in the contract logistics industry
  • Leadership management experience in the contract logistics industry
  • Business level English and Japanese level (including reading & writing)
