Job Description

  • Oversee and manage logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient product distribution
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company objectives
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems
  • Develop Warehousing Infrastructure & Partners with adequate capacity / technologies to manage processing of Pickup / Home Deliveries with high service standards to the Members
  • Implement an effective 3PL warehouse management program through frequent 3PL reviews & ensure Partners meet agreed KPIs
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards
  • Support planning team with driving forecasting accuracy , S&OP meetings to help inventory replenishment, maintaining total inventory at optimal levels
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve logistics efficiency
  • Lead and develop the logistics team

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager, Distribution Logistics should have:

  • A degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in logistics management within the health& wellness industry
  • At least 10 years working experience in Supply Chain Operations Management, with minimum 5 years management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Fluent Japaanese and good communication skills in English ( both Oral & Written ), presentation and reporting skills
  • Experience with order management & customer handling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics software systems
  • Knowledge of health& wellness industry regulations and standards
  • Experience with inventory control systems and ERP software is a must, prefer Oracle, industry certificate is a plus
