The Large Merchant SalesManager (LMS) will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to directly acquire Merchants. LM Sales will communicate and negotiatewith high-level executives and represent the company in Sales meetings and contract negotiations with Large Merchants. His / her responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Define and acquire Large Merchants to use as their transaction payment platform and establishing as the leading online payment platform for domestic and cross border transactions.
Achieve target numbers through analyzing our business and planning programs to grow activities of acquired Large Merchants.
Initiate and manage co-marketing initiatives with Large Merchants to maximize business results. Co-work with the Marketing team to drive initiatives that deliver business results.
Work closely with Regional Merchant Services, Product, Customer Service & Operations, and Integration team to provide value added service for Large Merchants
Working with our Enterprise Account Management teams to manage key accounts and maintain service levels.
Coordinating with counterparts within APAC to contribute initiatives and sharing best practice.
The Successful Applicant
Experience in IT, E-Commerce, and Payment segments is highly preferred. Familiarity with the e-Commerce ecosystem and a variety of services that Merchants would utilize together (i.e. shopping carts, payment gateway services) would be very beneficial.
Comfort with Data / Analytics and using it to advise Merchants, monitor and track effectiveness / performance, and drive decision making is a must.
Verbal and written skills in Japanese and English.
Strong personal connections in specific customer segment where opportunity exists.
