Job Description

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients in the high-tech sector. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell high-tech solutions to drive revenue growth. Develop account-specific strategies and implement action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Success: Understand the technical and business needs of clients to deliver customized solutions. Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies. Provide clients with insights and recommendations to stay ahead in the high-tech market.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track account performance and provide regular updates to senior management. Prepare forecasts, analyze key metrics, and propose data-driven strategies for account growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent or high business-level English is a must, (business-level) Japanese is desired
  • Experience working in the logistics / supply chain area with connection to high-tech industry or a related field (e.g., software, hardware, IT services, telecommunications).
  • Understanding of the technology landscape, including emerging trends and key players.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Experience managing and growing client accounts, including developing and executing account plans.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Experience in managing customer expectations and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Experience delivering presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Ability to create compelling proposals and reports.
