Job Description

  • Provide assistance to users facing technical issues with hardware, software, or network problems. This includes diagnosing problems, offering solutions, and escalating issues to higher-level technical teams if needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, applications, and peripherals to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Continuously monitor network performance and system health to identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
  • Install and configure new hardware, such as computers, printers, and peripherals, as well as software applications by collaborating project globally and locally.
  • Maintain detailed records of support tickets, incidents, and resolutions to track trends and improve support processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • In-depth knowledge of various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, and hardware components.
  • Ability to have experiences using management tools (e.g., Snow, SCCM)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with users, understand their issues, and provide clear, patient assistance in Japanese and English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and collaborating on complex issues.
