Job Description
- Lead suppliers to evaluate, audit, and educate from quality & cost points of view.
- Develop new suppliers by working closely with Supply Chain & Engineering departments.
- Review registration applications for new products and components from a quality perspective.
- Chair regular communication meetings with overseas entities to discuss quality-related issues.
- Maintain that a non-conformance process is carried out in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) and correct any deviations from the standard that are found.
- Make sure suppliers comply with quality-related standards and regulations such as ISO 9001 and JIS Q 9100.
The Successful Applicant
Education/degree:
- Bachelor's degree of Engineering, or equivalent.
Work experiences:
- Experience in the quality assurance field
- Work experience with overseas entities/suppliers.
- Strong experience in manufacturing company.
Other skills, experiences or highly desirable qualifications:
- JIS Q 9100 and US Military Standard knowledge preferable.
