Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies across various business units.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement processes and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  • Fluent Japanese, business English skills
