Job Description

  • Drive commercial growth of the rapidly expanding business
  • Achieve high double-digit sales growth targets by building and managing local sales team
  • Design and implement tactical sales plan that expands customer base
  • Provide reports about projects, prospects, forecasts, orders won/lost, and competition to the APAC leadership team
  • Establish executive level relationships at critical client accounts
  • Collaborate with APAC leadership team to establish regional business strategy
  • Drive regional business development initiatives
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and help establish local operating budgets

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum Bachelors level degree in life sciences is essential (MBA, MSc or PhD is a plus)
  • Experience in Sales or Marketing function
  • Strong experience in leading a sales team and people management in meeting annual targets
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology
  • Key account management experience for service business is desirable
  • Experienced in managing, coaching and mentoring teams in Japan and Korea
  • Language: Fluent Japanese, Fluent/business level English
  • Results orientated
  • Self-motivated with strong drive and energy
