About Our Client
Our client is a North American Global Consumer Health Company selling into Retail, Professional and Online channels. With a 150 year history they are the market leading brand in this space, employing over 15,000 people globally
In Japan, their business is around 300 people and has been operating here for more than 20 years
Job Description
- Manage a 200M USD business - full responsibility for driving both top and bottom line growth
- Critically evaluate all go to market strategies, focusing on but not including the following channels: Professional, Retail, Online
- Work closely with the Japan President to devise long term strategies that see the business develop their Japan product portfolio and brand image amongst key retail clients
- Manage team of 80 reports, including 11 direct reports - providing weekly feedback and call sessions to monitor KPIs and other key performance indicators
- Play an active role in hiring of new sales members in line with company growth plans
The Successful Applicant
- Over 15 years experience in sales within FMCG & Consumer - experience within a health related product/industry preferred but not essential
- Experience managing and driving change within big teams in order to successfully shift culture
- Japanese and English Language
- Experience managing up and exposure to APAC and Global HQs
