Job Description

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for the rare disease portfolio in Japan, including product launches.
  • Lead educational and promotional events in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Manage agencies and vendors to implement marketing tactics such as local materials and events.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical and Global Marketing.
  • Build and lead sales team training programs and ensure strong customer engagement.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare stakeholders, including local and international KOLs.
  • Track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide strategic input on market access plans and develop innovative multi-channel strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Over 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably in rare diseases in Japan.
  • At least 8 years in marketing roles with a successful track record in leadership.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to travel within Japan and internationally
