Job Description

  • Lead the transformation of HR working closely with the Managing Director
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director as a strategic partner to drive efficiency through execution and change management
  • Formulate and implement HR strategies and organizational transformations in partnership with management
  • Create strategic plans focused on recruitment and retention
  • Design workforce planning strategies to cultivate a competitive organization
  • Manage talent, reskill, and upskill competencies to meet business objectives
  • Advocate for company culture and enhance employee experience
  • Foster positive employee relations and execute HR processes
  • Apply HR practices to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Maintain legal compliance and oversee employee onboarding as the Compliance champion
  • Address incidents, tackle challenges, and spearhead People Development initiatives
  • Support corporate culture and align management with core values, ensuring cohesive implementation of people-related processes and initiatives in line with global standards
  • Direct competitive compensation planning and oversee payroll implementation
  • Manage administrative functions (office facilities, legal documentation, insurance, etc.) as the head of the department

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese
  • Experienced Leader in Human Resources
  • Experiences in a mid-sized company with 100-500 employees
  • Excellent people leadership and communication skills are an absolute priority to persuade and motivate a culturally diverse team of people
  • Proficiency in facilitating meetings, conflict resolution, and coaching
  • Demonstrated personal credibility and integrity
  • Strong experience in driving change and transformational initiatives
  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholders, expectations and influencing diverse teams
  • Proven experience in building peoplecapabilities and developing teams
  • Strong Business acumen, financial understanding and analytical skills
