About Our Client

Global securities firm is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join their team in Tokyo. The position provides broad exposure across the business and an opportunity to work on regional finance assignments.

Job Description

  • Regulatory reporting mainly for securities entity
  • Month-end and year-end closing
  • Management reporting
  • Liaison with regulators
  • Collaborate with local and overseas finance members



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years in bank or securities regulatory reporting in Japan, including liaising with regulators in Japanese
  • 5+ years in month-end and year-end closing/reporting under JGAAP basis
  • Oversee finance team and provide guidance to staff and checks
  • English: business level and above
  • Japanese: ability to discuss complex matters with regulators as well as colleagues
