Has 60 people in the Tokyo office and 100 people in total in including Osaka.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Analyze financial performance, create budgets, and implement cost management strategies.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance the retail offering.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in public engagements as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager Japan should have:

  • Proven leadership experience in the leisure, travel, or tourism industry.
  • A strong understanding of retail operations and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
