This position reports to the Engineering lead and will be part of the growing Technology team. The successful candidate will be diligent with a proven track record in Full-Stack Software/Backend Development.

Job Description

  • Build high-performance RESTful-APIs and backend services
  • Design and enrich relational databases (MySQL) for efficiency and maintainability
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Global/ Product/ Design teams to not only develop but also help define and optimise the products
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing applications with a strong focus on backend logic
  • Ensure code quality through documentation, code reviews, and testing

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of full-stack experience with a proven emphasis on backend development
  • Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, OOP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and Git
  • Fluent English communication skills



Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD, Laravel Nova, AWS (EC2, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
  • Fluency in Japanese
