Job Description

  • Manages timely and periodic reporting requirements in both English and Japanese for regulatory bodies in Japan and overseas subisidiaries.
  • Leads projects related to regulatory reporting and disclosures, working closely with external auditors and internal teams worldwide.
  • Coordinates with finance teams and auditors to address accounting issues and ensure adherence to new guidelines.
  • Prepares and oversees materials for external reports submitted to multiple regulatory authorities.
  • Guides the adoption of new accounting standards and oversees the accuracy of disclosure processes



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a similar area.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with strong analytical skills and knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proficiency in both English and Japanese.
  • Skilled in key software applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in multinational settings or pharmaceuticals, with a preference for audit background and CPA certification.
