About Our Client

The company is a large organisation based in Fukuoka, engaged in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. They are dedicated to providing high-quality services to their clients and are currently seeking a new addition to their Accounting & Finance Department.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily journal entries and closing of the accounts
  • Improve and maintain accounting systems and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare budgets and financial reports
  • Supervise a team of financial professionals and provide guidance
  • Implement financial policies to improve efficiency
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Provide support in financial decision-making

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Experience in team management plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
