About Our Client

The client is a growing skincare brand that has seen a high increase on e-commerce sales during the pandemic and is expanding their e-commerce team as a result. As they have a large range of products, they are able to cater to customers from all backgrounds.

Job Description

  • Plan, lead, and execute the company's e-commerce operations in order to achieve KPI's for customer acquisition and sales
  • Analyze key business indicators such as site traffic and conversions in order to make recommendation to marketing campaigns or to optimize e-commerce functions
  • Continuously optimize the company's e-commerce platform to ensure the best customer experience
  • Facilitate communication between digital marketing, acquisition marketing, CRM, and store teams
  • Drive the omnichannel customer journey by working cross-functionally with other teams
  • Collaborate and manage outside vendors
  • Work closely with the head of customer experience in order to develop new strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience working cross-functionally with other teams (such as sales, finance, etc.)
  • Experience with web merchandising and digital payments (such as Line Pay)
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce operations
  • At least 3-5 years of e-commerce experience on in-house e-commerce platform (Total work experience should be 10 years)
  • At least 2 years of people management
  • Fluent Japanese and at least business level English
  • Preferred experience in cosmetics/skincare companies or multinational companies
