About Our Client
The client is a growing skincare brand that has seen a high increase on e-commerce sales during the pandemic and is expanding their e-commerce team as a result. As they have a large range of products, they are able to cater to customers from all backgrounds.
Job Description
- Plan, lead, and execute the company's e-commerce operations in order to achieve KPI's for customer acquisition and sales
- Analyze key business indicators such as site traffic and conversions in order to make recommendation to marketing campaigns or to optimize e-commerce functions
- Continuously optimize the company's e-commerce platform to ensure the best customer experience
- Facilitate communication between digital marketing, acquisition marketing, CRM, and store teams
- Drive the omnichannel customer journey by working cross-functionally with other teams
- Collaborate and manage outside vendors
- Work closely with the head of customer experience in order to develop new strategies
The Successful Applicant
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with other teams (such as sales, finance, etc.)
- Experience with web merchandising and digital payments (such as Line Pay)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce operations
- At least 3-5 years of e-commerce experience on in-house e-commerce platform (Total work experience should be 10 years)
- At least 2 years of people management
- Fluent Japanese and at least business level English
- Preferred experience in cosmetics/skincare companies or multinational companies
