Job Description
- Evaluate products, tools and new hardware
- To design, implement and monitor information technology systems at the data centre
- Maintain physical safety of the facility and various IT hardware
- To Investigate and Identify areas of improvement
- Administer solutions to servers and hard drives to make sure efficiency in equipment function
- Monitor system operations and fix emerging issues
- Evaluate server hardware potential by testing hardware specification to its full capacity
- Maximises use of hardware specification in Data-centre power usage
- Cooperate with users to improve user experience and fulfil their needs
- Knowledge of orchestration techniques, server infrastructures and configuration-as-code tools
The Successful Applicant
- Business level proficiency in Japanese language and daily conversational in English (TOEIC 600+)
- Professional Experience of Visio and draw tools
- Posses the ability to design Network and Servers in Rack Frontview elevations
- Capable of multi-tasking, to strive under pressure and have the enthusiasm to finish the task
- Have excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve any problems on the software and servers
- Knowledge of DevOps, automation techniques
- Able to use scripting languages such as Ruby, Phyton or Bash
- Understands CI/CD pipelines integration with Hardware sets
