Job Description

  • Lead sourcing strategies within the construction category.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and conduct negotiations to ensure optimal terms.
  • Maintain procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with HQ on joint procurement & process improvement projects.
  • Monitor market trends and perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Oversee and manage procurement projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement strategies within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Sourcing Assistant Manager should have:

  • A strong background in construction sourcing or procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • The ability to lead sourcing strategies and manage procurement projects.
  • Sound knowledge of market trends and cost analysis in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in improving procurement processes and strategies.
  • Business level English and Fluent Japanese are mandatory.
