Job Description

  • Vendor Partnership: Manage and nurture strategic vendor relationships, driving mutually beneficial collaborations and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Employ logical thinking and analytical skills to analyze market trends and financial data for informed decision-making.
  • Proactive Action: Demonstrate a results-driven approach, swiftly adapting priorities to achieve set goals and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Negotiation Skills: Build trust with partners, navigate complex situations, and negotiate successful outcomes with a long-term perspective.
  • Effective Communication: Seamlessly liaise with internal stakeholders and senior management, maintaining clear and concise communication.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or buying/merchandising, with a strong background in retail or sales management.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficient in financial data interpretation, with the ability to perform basic financial analysis, especially P&L
  • Problem-Solver: Agile at grasping market and sales trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.
  • Results-Oriented: A goal-driven mindset with the ability to adapt priorities and take decisive action to achieve objectives.
  • Communication: Proficient in English and Japanese.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Project Leadership: Proven experience in project management, particularly involving external partners.
