A market leader in various chemical fields such as automotive, paints, plastics, electronics, energy, and telecommunications with clients in over a hundred countries in the world. They are highly invested in the Japanese market as well, seeking to expand their portfolio and market share.

Job Description

Responsible for understanding product development status with the global team, and developing business with OEM partners in Japan. In addition, you will be responsible for understanding global regulatory and market trends and developing next- generation products and new business through advocacy activities coordinating with relevant ministries and industry organisations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Fluent Japanese and Business-Level English
  • Strong Experience in Business Development and B2B Commercial roles
  • Ability to read and understand documents related to international regulations and related technologies in English (tens of pages every month)
  • Ability to negotiate with relevant industry groups
  • Ability to communicate with global teams in English
