Job Description

・Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities,
including potential clients, markets, and industry trends, to drive growth and expand
Japan's market presence.
・Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to
achieve company goals and objectives. Create actionable strategies to capture new
markets and enhance revenue streams.
・Client Acquisition: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers,
industry stakeholders, and potential clients. Lead efforts to acquire new customers
and grow existing accounts.
・Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs,
industry trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform business
strategies and decision-making.
・Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling business proposals and
presentations to prospective clients and partners. Customize solutions to meet client
requirements and address their pain points.
・Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with clients and partners to
secure business deals that align with company objectives and profitability.
・Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and
product development, to ensure alignment with business development efforts and
deliver exceptional value to clients.
・Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development activities,
including progress towards targets, key metrics, and outcomes. Provide regular
updates to senior management and adjust strategies as needed

The Successful Applicant

・Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales
within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and
managing client relationships.
・Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and
the ability to think strategically and analytically.
・Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the automotive industry, market dynamics,
and emerging trends.
・ Language: Fluency in Japanese (both spoken and written) is required. Proficiency in
English is preferred.
・Travel: Willingness to travel within Japan and occasionally internationally, as required.
