Job Description

  • Prepare and oversee budget planning and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct financial reporting and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with overseas business units.
  • Provide financial support and recommendations to C-Level executives.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial data submission.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Controller should have:

  • Fluency in Japanese and good business-level proficiency spoken and written in English.
  • Strong expertise (5 or more years) in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Proven ability to prepare budgets and forecasts effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with overseas business units.
  • The will to take responsibility working with senior executives with financial insights.
