Job Description

Participate in business audits, mainly in Investment Management Division which includes Asset Management and Private Equity Investment areas
Execute audits in accordance with our audit methodology, including the planning of audit scope, analyzing business process and flows, identifying key risks and controls, preparing audit plans, conducting audit testing, drafting audit reports in Japanese and occasionally in English and discussing audit issues with auditees
Effectively report to the audit team managers and timely update on the important findings and potential issues
Perform the validation works for the issues remediated by auditees
Continuous risk and control monitoring for the audit areas and perform risk assessments
Manage relationships with key partners in business and support functions
Maintain awareness of regulatory and industry wide developments and proactively share the knowledge within the department
Contribute to IA's initiatives to promote digitalization and improve audit efficiencies such as Data Analytics and using other IT tools.

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of internal and/or external audit for financial institutions, preferably asset management
Native-level Japanese and business level English oral and written communication skills
Ability and experience to produce high quality deliverables consistently and perform multiple tasks in parallel
Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Intellectual curiosity, a self-starter and work with enthusiasm as a professional internal auditor
Ability to execute internal audit visions and strategies in accordance with high ethical standards required by financial institutions
CPA, CIA, CFA qualifications a plus
