The Application Scientist is a full-time, 100% remote role accountable for understanding member's problems and working with them to address their needs by applying and supporting the development of science. Working with the Company's scientists and delivery team to develop Company's solutions. Promote in silico solutions across industries and their regulators in Japan. Reports to the Director of Applied Sciences or their nominee.

Job Description

As an Application Scientist, you will:

  • Act as a scientific expert, connecting our scientific developments with industrial applications.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with members and regulators, understanding their needs and applying our solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with members, sharing knowledge and data to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive training on our software and offer scientific support.
  • Promote the use of in silico solutions for decision-making through effective scientific communications.
  • Cover both Japan and Korea markets

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking an individual who:

  • Excels in scientific communication, demonstrating an understanding of members' needs and showcasing effective solutions.
  • Possesses knowledge of chemical structures and the application of in silico predictions.
  • Has expertise in toxicology, metabolism, degradation, and organic reaction mechanisms.
  • Is proactive, innovative, and commercially aware.
  • Exhibits negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Can work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and independently.
  • Shows strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Is willing to travel extensively.
  • Able to speak Japanese and English fluently
