The client is a foreign freight forwarding company. Their global HQ based in the US and their APAC HQ based in Singapore. The company provides air, ocean, and customs clearance services for a wide variety of industries (ex: food, luxury, chemical, automotive, etc.). Globally, the company operates in 80 countries with 4,000 employees. There are 100 employees across three offices in Japan.
Job Description
- Accurate and timely processing of all shipment
- Effective communication with respective managers and respective gateway operations to ensure the best possible routing of cargo
- Conduct performance evaluation for direct reports
- Ongoing coaching and mentoring of staff
The Successful Applicant
- Experience working in logistics companies
- People management or any sort of leadership experience
- Business level Japanese and English
