In Japan the company has a strong presence and it is one of the companies in the Transportation industry that shows a consistent strong financial performance and keeps growing.Job DescriptionThis position will be in charge of the Financial Accounting using IFRS and USGAAP accounting standards.Collaborate with a tax agent regarding the Tax matters.Support leadership with decision making using the financial data.Communicate with the US HQ (around once a month) to communicate an update of the Japan's office.Act as a business partner to communicate with external stakeholders like Banks and other financial institutions.Join 2-3 business trips a year (within Japan) (costs and business trip allowances are covered by the company).The Successful ApplicantFinancial accounting experience using JGAAPFluency in Japanese (to communicate with banks)Business-level English (to communicate with the US HQ)Experience working in a company with less than 100 employees will be an advantageFull-time work permission in Japan is required*Even this position is fully remote a successful candidate would need to be located in Japan while being employed.
