Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations during the consolidation process.
  • Collaborate with local and international teams to gather accurate financial data.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for consolidation activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant should have:

  • A bachelor decree
  • Experience in accounting or financial consolidation within the industrial or manufacturing sector will be a plus but not a requirement.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. (nice to have)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reading and writing in English; fluency in Japanese language skills are an advantage.
