- Execute a practicle sales strategy for each account/prospect and work with and the Sales Engineer to deliver technical and commercial proposals to prospects and customers, and respond to RFP/RFI/RFQs.
- Work with Sales partners where appropriate, attend trade shows, conferences and network within industry.
- Proactively communicate with manager on progress within the region, strategic opportunities and customer requirements.
- Manage cross-functional pre- and post-sales resources in day-to-day operations to ensure a high level of customer support and satisfaction.
- Self motivated, results-oriented professional with the drive to succeed
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current Service Provider/Telcom customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
- Ability to work independently and manage all sales related activities in a region
- Decent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
- Previous sales experience in the telecommunications industry and preferably with an IP networking equipment company or telecommunications service provider
