The client is one of the most famous multinational life insurance company with headquarter based in the US. They have long established business in Japan and has large IT organisation locally. The company allows work from home during the pandemic and the office is located within 10mins by train from Tokyo station. The office is large and stylish with own cafe.
Job Description
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- For straightforward problems, designs solutions including security, availability and performance
- Plans and executes broad resolutions to recurring problems and regulatory changes
- Handles moderately complex communication with technical and business partners outside engineering group
- Function tests new solutions and tool releases and fixes, including compatibility testing and documentation of steps and issues.
- Performs advanced tests and documents best practices, including plans upgrade and path deployments
- Partners with application development, operations and customers to identify needs, opportunities and solutions, for example using advanced features
- Acts as a point of contact for global teams to ensure local and global best practice align
- Establishes and updates local standards and best practice within own technical area
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None, but is expected to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to less experienced associates on content management topics
The Successful Applicant
- 5 years or more experience within integration technologies as a developer, administrator, engineer, consultant or a middleware technologist in Identity Management, Single Signe On, Access certifications and Directory
- Must have experience in designing, building, configuring and managing SiteMinder, Ping, API-Connect, Apache HTTP server, IIS
- Must have experience in designing, building, configuring and managing implementations of SSO standards and implementation (SAML, Open ID Connect, Oauth 2. 0, Web JWT Token, x509 certificates);
- Preferably have hands on experience with version control software (e.g. bitbucket), CICD (e.g. Bamboo), testing (e.g. jUnit), scripting (e.g. FTP, SCP, and CRON)
- Preferably have experience in designing services based on different standards for REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and OpenAPI compliant APIs.
- Preferably have experience in designing, building, configuring and managing Message Queuing (JMS, IBM MQ) in both point-to-point and multi-way interconnections
- Preferably have certification or equivalent experience in building, configuring and managing OS and containers
o Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
o LPIC-1 Certified Linux Administrator
o Linux Foundation Certified SysAdmin (LFCS)
o CompTIA Linux+
o Docker Certified Associate (DCA) or equivalent Kubernetes or OpenShift Certification
- Preferably have certification and experience in designing, building, configuring and managing messaging and integration systems with PaaS components in Cloud
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Japanese is preferred but not necessary
