About Our Client
My client is a well known personal goods European brand, looking to expand their product lineup within Japan.
As a small to medium sized business, they are looking to grow their marketing team in line with some exciting new products.
- Oversee and propose the development of brand visions, objectives and strategic plans for Japan in alignment with long-term plan and annual planning.
- Oversee development of tactical plans (advertising development, media planning, promotions, PR,
- digital, market research etc.) to ensure attainment of annual and long term goals.
- Close communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of brand positioning, messaging, and brand personality to ensure these components are executable.
- Ensure appropriate strategic direction is communicated to and executed by external agencies
- Oversee and lead development of innovation strategies of the brand.
- Drive development of tangible product and marketing innovations that will deliver growth for the business
- Ensure continuous review of product and market performance to identify key growth opportunities and hurdles facing the brand; ensure development of appropriate action and contingency plans
- Provides strong leadership, a vision and strategic direction to employees within the division (especially sales team) to ensure they are inspired & motivated to achieve business goals.
The Successful Applicant
-Have minimum 1 year experience in product marketing (ideally to have experience in cosmetic category or mass marketing channel)
-Product development within Japan
-Promotion/ Launch planning , execution
-Forecasting/ stock management
