US based innovator in battery management technology is looking to aggressively expand business in Japan. It is a fast growing company with easy-to-use, highly effective, top quality products which is a global market leader. The current target of the company is the stationary power market in Japan, especially since the need of battery management technology is becoming more apparent as safety precautions for unforeseeable circumstances.

My clients are experiencing some excellent results and is looking to further capitalize on this with the recruitment of a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager has an exciting challenge to grow existing revenue streams and explore new market opportunities. In addition, there may be an opportunity to hire direct reports.

職務内容

  • Develop, manage, and grow business, company brand presence and sales in the Japanese market, as specified in the company strategic plan.
  • Identify target market segments and prospective customers. Develop and manage customers and the necessary sales channels in the telecommunications market, data center market, power utilities , battery suppliers and other related applications.
  • Establish direct sales relationships with major accounts in telecommunications
  • Act as the product management/engineering interface between HQ and territory channels/customers
  • Manage relationships with distributors and representatives in certain markets (e.g. power utility)
  • Support distributor or channel partner sales and marketing activities
  • Domestic travel of 50% is a minimum; travel to Korea from time to time as needed; travel to U.S. once a year

理想の人材

  • University/college degree
  • Fluency in English and Japanese language communication
  • Sales experience in power or back-up battery related market
    OR
    Sales experience in selling into telecom, utilities, or UPS system service companies
  • Can work independently with little supervision while delivering sales results
  • Willing to travel regionally
