About Our Client

One of the leading global Financial Services firm.

Job Description

You will play an important role in this high profile project, responsible for managing the migration of legacy systems to an in-house developed risk management system. This is a front-office user-facing role. Work closely with regional and global teams. Main responsibilities include:

• Project planning, progress monitoring & tracking, reporting.
• Maintain continuous awareness of risk and issues. Respond promptly to any deviation from project plan, risk or issues.
• Run project meetings.
• Maintain a close communication with project sponsors, users, other project managers, IT teams.
• Manage UAT, regression testing and releases.

The Successful Applicant

• Must have minimum 5 years of project management experience in the Investment Banking area.
• Proven experience and ability to work closely with front-office desks.
• Experience with Distributed, High Availability applications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to discuss issues at both high and detailed levels with business analysts, developers, users, regional/global teams.
• FI Derivatives experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Systems, Interest Rates Derivatives projects.
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Release Management.
• Good working knowledge of a Project Management methodology.
