About Our Client
Our client is a well-established gaishikei companies with several offices in Japan

Job Description

This role will look after the entire IT infrastructure for Japan, and will remotely support overseas offices across Asia-Pacific. You will start by receiving 2 to 6 weeks training in the German HQ, and then will return to Tokyo to cover the following areas:

• Communication between Japanese management and German HQ
• Administration of PC's, Networks and Servers
• 1st level SAP support (training provided)
• Data backup
• Documentation
• Maintain and extend DXM Database for Data Exchange
• Project Management for global projects
• Inventory management
• Vendor negotiation and control

The Successful Applicant

• Experienced managing networks (preferably both VPN and MLPS)
• Linux experience
• Windows Exchange
• Good PC troubleshooting experience.
• VMware experience is preferred but not required
• Native-level Japanese language ability and fluency in English
