Our client is a leading retail company with over 1200 employees in Japan. Over the past 5 years they have been growing over 20% per year.

職務内容

This position will be responsible for:

• Supporting effective decision-making through accurate and timely analysis of large data sets relating to capacity and demand forecasts.
• Ensuring the delivery of actionable, accurate, and timely financial and business metrics.
• Generating and ensuring the quality of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Developing and publishing visual management aids based on underlying capacity data..
• Designing and coordinating the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the group's growing and rapidly evolving businesses.
• Driving cross-business analytic projects for management, with business modeling, data mining and presentation support.

理想の人材

• MBA or advanced degree (M.S/PhD) in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, stats, operations research, finance)
• Proven hands-on experience of building, maintaining, and improving large scale predictive models.
• Knowledge of advance statistical and simulation tools (SAS, R, etc.)
• Sufficient knowledge of programming to handle large datasets (SQL, VBA, Perl, etc.)
• Business level English and Japanese

条件・待遇

• Annual salary of up to 10 million yen depending on skill and experience.
