1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary - (Role Summary)
Support Head of Sales & Marketing, AuA & JP with coordination on driving commercial performance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities, maximum 5 activities)
Supporting Head of Sales & Marketing (and DoC) includes:
Effective communications with global teams, corporate office, functional teams, managed hotels - via Emails, materials, Commercial deep dives, cascade calls, performance calls etc.
Managing commercial initiatives - implement, schedule, monitor performance of managed hotels. In particular: A. T&E budget - keeping on budget B. Commercial calendar - up to date, with ensured parties & accurate info C. Cascading - schedule, manage & deploy (3 area mtgs, 1 commercial workshop)
Perform other support duties as needed
2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills -
Strong PC skills including software packages with emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
Effective oral and written communication skills and good math skills
Detail oriented, good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Extensive customer service and presentation development skills.
The majority of activities are administrative in nature. Although secretarial duties may be performed, they are secondary to the job.
Strong project coordination skills, aligned by Head of Sales & Marketing, AuA & JP agenda
Basic understanding of IHG distribution systems (i.e. Holidex screens, codes, system interaction) and Airline Reservation Systems, etc. to appreciate effect of system enhancements/changes.
Good knowledge of the company's marketing programs and initiatives.
Knowledge of hotel structure, set-up, organization and process.
Prefer marketing assistant experience
Typically 4 years of administrative/secretarial or related experience.
Hourly rate: 1700-2000hr, depends on experience and skills
