My client is one of the world's largest beauty companies with approximately $9 billion in revenue. They are currently top ten in ALPEA and working to build up their presence in Japan within the consumer beauty section.
With support from one of Japan's biggest domestic companies, they are looking to make great strides within the next 2-3 years in color cosmetics.
With over 20,000 employees, operations in more than 40 countries and products sold in over 130 countries and territories, they are committed to a range of social causes as well as seek to minimize its impact on the environment.
*Develop, lead and execute e-commerce strategies across multiple sites/brands to achieve significant revenue growth
*Accelerate e-commerce and online customer acquisition, especially via digital demand creation marketing activities
*Manage online advertising & digital production budgets and an implementation team covering all key functional areas: online ads & promotions, SEO, SEM, contents marketing, social media, affiliates, online creative, and web operations.
*Improve digital customer experience and constantly test new landing pages, creative executions, marketing tactics, and new offers.
*Manage and cultivate digital agency/vendor relationships, and act as chief digital liaison and negotiator with internal/external partners.
*10+ years experience with an extensive background in Japan consumer internet / e-commerce at a respected internet company or online channel of a multichannel player (at least 3 years in a leadership role with substantial revenue or P&L responsibility).
*Significant online performance-based marketing experience (both customer acquisition and retention), including SEO/SEM, affiliates, display, email, mobile, social media, landing page optimization, etc.
*Strong understanding of user interface and website design, merchandising/ promotion, web operations, and technology.
*Bachelor degree, MBA desired
*Fluent/functional in both Japanese and English.
*Knowledge of beauty/skincare industry a plus.
