The Company is a retail company and the HQ is located in the US. Founded in 1972. The company produces footwear and operates stores in the United States and 66 other countries around the world.
This role is responsible for the HR operations of the Japan organization. This business partner role provides HR counsel and guidance, strategy and execution to leaders and employees across all functions within their respective area of the company. Plays a key role in the execution of "People Strategy" in the years ahead. Other accountabilities include the development, implementation and management of programs in areas such as performance management, organizational development, succession planning and organizational change. Individually is responsible for the Japan market, aswell as dotted line guidance to the Japan Payroll employee who will report into the US.
・Customer Service orientation, with ability to distinguish and act as a support
・Ability to conduct investigations and employee relations issues, advocating for the employee while keep the interest of the company in mind as well as to see both sides of a story
・Understanding of remote sales, corporate office and retail business processes and employment demographic
・Hands-on exposure to Compensation, HRIS, Benefits, Employee Relations, and/or Organizational Development
・Experience in recruitment and selection processes as well as talent and succession planning
・Fluency with MS-Office products
・Proven ability to partner with and influence senior management
・speak fluent Japanese and advanced English
