Job Description

The BI Leader for APAC Region of Enterprise Business Intelligence works with business users in the region to support enterprise business intelligence solutions and services to improve business performance.

You will focus on communicating and sharing enterprise BI strategy to the business stakeholders in APAC region and deliver BI initiatives that align with BI growth roadmap

Detailed responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of business objectives and create a supporting roadmap of BI projects
• Manage the initiation process for projects and supervise BI Team to achieve project goals
• Partnership with business, identify business drivers, ensure execution with quality on time and on budget
• Manage vendors and customer and act as the BI liaison for the region.
• Manage the adoption of BI project deliverables by the business and the integration of project deliverables with business processes
• Become an expert in business processes through analysis and observation
• Ensure the best practice of all things IS-related for enterprise business intelligence capabilities in the region
• Implement process improvements and change management efforts as necessary to sustain change and realize benefits
• Drive BI standard system integration for the region, including standard roll out reporting needs
• Participate in all BI system simplification and consolidation efforts
• Clarify and Prioritize for BI requests/demand in the region
• Participate in BI project review to understand potential release schedule, risk and dependencies

The Successful Applicant

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Sound experience on BI processes and systems analysis.
• Proven business analysis and process re-engineering skills required.
• Hands-on experiences with one of the following BI tools: Business Objects, Cognos, SAP BW, DWH, Teradata, etc.
• In-depth knowledge on Data Warehouse design principles.
• Multiple full project life cycle implementation experience in Data Warehousing or BI is required
• People management experience for internal teams or project based would be an advantage
• Experience managing business intelligence production systems in a managed service level environment
• Consulting experience in the past is a plus
• One or more of the following professional certifications would be a plus: ITIL or Six Sigma.
