Job Description

• Architecting new database tables
• Investigating and resolving data anomalies
• Coordinating efforts with the application development team
• Obtaining new data requirements from the business user
• Produce high level and detailed documentation and gain sign-off .

The Successful Applicant

DataWarehouse

• Strong proficiency with relational data models
• Complete understanding of data warehouse architecture, star schemas and snowflakes
• Extensive experience of data modeling for DWH systems
• Strong proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle 8 and 10 database technology

Tools

• Must demonstrate a decent understanding of Cognos
• Must demonstrate a decent understanding of ETL

IT project team member competency

• Experience in working various Business and IT teams as one team to achieve the agreed business outcomes
• Strong understanding of SDLC
• Proactive self starter who is able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to produce design documentation
• Demonstrated strong analytical, conceptual, problem solving and commitment to quality
• Preferred to have SAP BW module experience

Languages

• Fluent Japanese
• Business level English
