About Our Client
Our client is a worldwide leader in the parts manufacturing industry. The specific type of manufacturing is confidential, however their clients are mega industrial international companies. Our client has a large finance department and a large Costing team. This new position will be under the experienced leadership of a manager who has been with the company for many years. Conveniently located in the Tokyo area, this company will be a solid environment to build your career.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Cost accounting - material, equipment, labor costs, supply usage, manufacturing processing times and new process equipment requirements and costs
• Assess risk and analyze solutions
• Create costing models to advise business practice
• Work with Purchasing department closely and provide analysis and reports to advise
• Review complex bill of materials
• Rate development
• Communicate with other teams across the world
• Process improvement and efficiency analysis

The Successful Applicant

The qualified candidate will have most of the following:

• Extensive Cost accounting experience
• 2-3 years financial analyst experience
• 4 yr degree in Finance or Business
• Degree in Engineering also acceptable
• Be able to review product design and understand manufacturing processes
• Native level Japanese language skills, Fluent level English language skills
• Stable career experience at an international company
• Strong Excel skills
• Team oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
