Technical Account Manager - Streaming Media

About Our Client
Our client is a global media provider operating streaming services across a range of platforms
●Reporting to the Head of Living Room products, you will manage multiple external relationships with CE partners to ensure that the highest level of product is delivered on these platforms.
●Support technical relationships with our partners, drive and refine the partner engagement process around application preloads, integration and service launches.
●Collaborate with the product team on the innovative product features.
●Collaborate with the commercial teams to ensure the achieve deals are completed.
●Collaborate with the UX design team to ensure correct marketing assets are provided for OEM stores.
●Collaborate with the QA Team to ensure all pre-launch defects are correctly prioritised and resolved in a timely manner to meet the agreed launch dates.
●Working with the OEM partners to resolve any platform specific issues through engineering channels.
●Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the service, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
●Ensure business objectives are met and risks are managed.
●Establish and monitor service level metrics relative to business goals.
●Review and approve proposed development releases and manage the release process through CE Partners.
●Monitor application performance and review any application failures in staging or production.
●Based in Tokyo Japan and able to travel frequently to meet with CE partners.
●Native level Japanese speaker with fluent English required
The Successful Applicant
●Proven experience as a Technical Account Manager, Product Manager or Technical Project Manager in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
●Proven experience leading successful 3rd party relationships.
●Strong negotiation skills both commercially and strategic.
●Experience influencing software engineering best practices.
●Must have experience in managing outsourced software development partners.
●Experience in the development of a high-profile digital video service an advantage.
●Knowledge of end-to-end video delivery technologies an advantage.
●Understanding of the challenges of launching products in multiple, non-English speaking markets.
●Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
