About Our Client
Our first mission is to help customers avoid security problems before they strike. The Support Account Manager (SAM) gets to know the customer's security infrastructure and requirements as well as (or better than) the in-house team. He or she will review business challenges, document the current status of the security environment, and provide an assessment report with recommended configurations, implementations, and product best practices to help the customer avoid issues and stay protected.
The Support manager helps customers with security problems before they happen. They know the customer's systems better than the customer, and will be the first line of defense and troubleshooting whenever a problem occurs. The support manager will review challenges, and write reports about the current status of their customer's security and assess possible threats while suggesting to the customer possible products which could aid them.
The Successful Applicant
-Minimum 5 years applicable experience in relationship/customer management in a technical environment with named or dedicated accounts
-Strong personal interaction, negotiation, presentation and telephone interaction skills at the business professional services level
-Ability to identify and manage critical situations
-Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements in a dynamic environment
-Ability to being positive, proactive and productive
-Experience in management of technical projects requiring coordination of various resources for successful outcome
-Experience with one or more of the following Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux, Unix - HP UX, AIX, Solaris
-Experience with one or more of the following protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, Token Ring
-Experience with one or more of the following Network architecture: LAN's & WAN's, ATM, Frame Relay, Gigabit
-Industry certifications in one or more of the following: MCSE, MCP, CNA, CCNA, CCNP, Unix, Lotus Notes, CompTIA Security, CISSP
-Excellent English/Japanese: TOEIC 730 above/fluency in Japanese
-Flexible to travel with minimal notice

The budget can go up to 9 million yen per year (depending on the candidate's current salary)
